To celebrate RB's 4th birthday on the 1st of September, we are running a competition!
You can enter a total of TWO (2) banners. However, you can only win once.
The prize for advertising will mean that your site (if you have one) will be advertised on every page of RB in place of the 'feature' section on the left (this page gets about 20 unique clicks a day from that).
Now, on to the contest!

Contest: Birthday Banner or Video

In this contest, entrants need to create a banner or a video with a happy birthday message for RainbowBliss. The banner can be any size (but not too big please). If you are making a video, please keep it less than 5 minutes.
We are looking for creativity and originality. Do not take or steal other people's graphics. You can use your own graphics and photos, or you can use anything available on RB. You can also use resources (brushes, textures, etc) from other sites as long as you're allowed to.

Prizes

One winner will be chosen by the judge (Elie), and 2 other people's choice winners will be chosen by voting.
There will be an award for the three winners, as well as a participation award for everyone else that enters.
If you don't want the Neopoints, you can get an extra 2 days advertising for each 5,000NP (So 30,000NP would get you 12 days extra advertising, adding the 1 week gives 19 days in total).

Judge's Decision:
The winner gets the advertising, and gets to pick either the neopoints OR the voucher.
- US$2 GoDaddy Voucher (gets a .info domain for 1 year, or can be used to discount other things)
- 55,000NP
- 2 weeks advertising on RB.

People's Choice 1st Place:
- 45,000NP
- 1 week advertising on RB

People's Choice 2nd Place:
- 30,000NP
- 1 week advertising on RB

We held a similar competition 2 years ago, but the rules were that you had to create a banner that was a specific size. I'll put them up here for inspiration:

Enter the contest

Firstly, you need to upload your creation to the internet. You can use Photobucket, Youtube, whatever.
Entries close 15 September 2009 (So the competition will be open to entries for 3 weeks).

To enter, put your details into the contact form (link below) and in the 'message' section make sure you write "competition entry" and put the URL of the banner/ video.

Rules

The judge's decisions are final.
Only one vote per person is allowed in people's choice voting. Any cheaters will be ELIMINATED! Muahaha!
The prizes stated above are not final. They may be changed during the course of the competition, depending on how many entries are recieved (for example, some more prizes may be added for third place).
If the gift voucher for US$2 at GoDaddy is used for a 1 year .info domain registration or other new domain registration, the recipient is responsible for account registration, and they must pay any subsequent or renewal costs. The voucher may also be used to discount the price of an existing domain renewal.
If the Judge's decision is also the People's choice, they will get the Judge's decision prize, and the 2nd and 3rd place People's choice will get the people's choice prizes.
