Creating a Sanctuary for Cherished Memories and Farewells
Driven by a desire to offer solace and support to fellow pet parents during their time of sorrow, we wanted to create a sanctuary where memories could be shared, tears could be shed, and goodbyes could be said in a manner that truly honored the unique spirit and essence of each cherished pet.
Through our own experiences and the unwavering love of our furry companions, we have come to understand the profound impact that animals have on our lives and the depth of the bonds we form with them.
It is our hope that by offering a compassionate and loving environment for families to bid farewell to their beloved pets, we can provide a sense of closure, peace, and comfort during a time of loss and transition.
Our Story
My husband and I founded this business with the vision of providing a space where families could come together to say their final goodbyes, surrounded by love, understanding, and respect. During our entire lifetime, we have lost 5 dogs, and there has always been this lingering effect on us, questioning why we can't honor their memory like humans.
One time, we were watching videos on Facebook, and there was this person who actually held a funeral for his beloved dog. We read some comments like 'we should make this a norm,' 'we should normalize this,' etc. So we thought to ourselves, why not turn that wishful thinking into a reality? My husband, Benjie, and I came up with the idea of putting up Rainbow Bliss.

SHORT BIOGRAPHY OF MR. LEONARDO MACASPAC
A Tribute to an Animal Lover
My Papa was a remarkable man whose love for animals knew no bounds. Born with a heart full of compassion and kindness, he dedicated his life to caring for the voiceless creatures around him. His legacy of love and care for animals continues to inspire those who knew him. Growing up it was evident that Papa had a special connection with animals. His passion for the well-being of all living beings shone brightly through his actions. He found joy in feeding the stray cats that roamed the complex, using his own resources to ensure they never went hungry. He feeds them twice a day. And he knows when someone is missing, He’d walk with a plate of cat food and try to find the missing one. I remember one time somebody rang the bell and it was a random person asking if the man that feeds the stray cat lives there and I called my dad and I thought to myself Oh my is he in trouble? But guess what that person gave a donation to my dad so he can continue to do what he does. And that person comes to the house on a regular basis sometimes leaving the cat food by the door step. Rain or shine, he could be seen setting up shades for the cats during inclement weather, providing them with a comfortable place to rest. He went above and beyond, buying toys and even clothes for the cats in the winter months, showing his unwavering commitment to their happiness and well-being. His compassion extended beyond cats to injured birds and even skunks. Papa would nurse wounded birds back to health and release them back into the wild, showcasing his nurturing spirit. Feeding skunks may have seemed unconventional to some, but to him, every creature deserved care and compassion. His love for dogs was unparalleled, and he instilled that love in us. His selflessness and dedication to his furry companions were evident in his final wishes, ensuring that even in death, they remained close to his heart. His final wish was to put “Boo’s (shihtzu) ashes inside his urn and we did just that. As a loving father, Papa imparted valuable lessons of kindness and compassion to his children and grandchildren. His final words, urging his family to care for one another and for his beloved dog, Troy, exemplified his selfless nature and deep love for his family. In honor of the legacy of love and compassion that my Papa left behind, we dedicate the Rainbow Bliss Pet Funeral Home in his name. May this sanctuary serve as a testament to his unwavering devotion to animals and his belief that every life, no matter how small, is precious. Though he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those he touched. We will continue to honor his memory by following his example of kindness, compassion, and unconditional love for all living creatures. Rest in peace Papa. Your legacy of love and care will forever be remembered and cherished.
